Diagnostic equipment
Electronic dynamometer It is important to periodically check the pressure applied by the brush-holder system and to evaluate particularly the variation of the pressure along the same line of brushes. Three probes of varying dimensions adaptable to fit the equipment, allowing measurements up to 10, 20 or 60 N are available.
Stroboscope It allows easy location of run-out faults causing high brush vibration on highly distorted slip rings or commutators. It is capable of dynamically revealing mechanical, electrical and atmospheric faults. It allows visual examination of the slip rings and commutators on electrical machines while they are running .
